BiographyDan is originally from Chicago, where he had always wanted to tell great stories. In high school, he made short films with his friends, using a then out-of-date camcorder. He took broadcasting classes, and became cable certified.Dan was Student Body Vice-President in college, where he took more film and television classes, including screenwriting. He identified with the screenwriting aspects of the entertainment industry, and that became his preferred method of telling stories. Dan’s main focus is writing for hour television, but also enjoys writing features and half hour programs. He is skilled at writing various genres, from comedy to tragedy, and everything in between. Dan’s accomplishments include being a semifinalist in the One Hour category of the Scriptapalooza TV contest, a first place script for Lostpedia’s Season 4 Writing Contest, running and printing his own monthly zine, and being published in a literary magazine. Dan currently lives in Los Angeles, where he has an internship as a script reader at the Radmin Company. Besides that, he is busy writing scripts and making industry contacts. |
